Automated Fireproof Coating Production Facility

The production line for thin-film fire retardant coatings (capacity: 10,000 tons/year) consists of 4 sets of automated units. The production line for decorative fire-resistant paint (fire-retardant latex paint) has an annual capacity of 1,000 tons. These production lines feature a central control room, automated ingredient dosing, and automated dispersion mixing. The facility spans four floors: the top floor houses raw material storage, the third floor contains the automated batching system, the second floor is the high-speed dispersion area, and the ground floor is the packaging zone. The fully automated production of thin-film fireproof coatings is an industry-first innovation in China.

The adhesive production line (capacity: 6,000 tons/year) includes 2 sets of units operating in a vertical assembly line. The top level accommodates reaction kettles, the middle level holds adhesive storage tanks, and the first-level platform is equipped with high-speed dispersers. An automatic weighing system ensures precise ingredient mixing for consistent quality. This setup enhances efficiency in producing flame-retardant paints and related fire-protective coatings, meeting high industry standards.

The powder production zone features two identical production lines for thick-film fire retardant coatings (indoor/outdoor and tunnel applications), with a total annual capacity of 24,000 tons (1 ton/hour per line). Four outdoor storage tanks (100 tons each) hold raw materials. The facility includes a central control room and full automation—automatic batching, mixing, and packaging—making it a leader in China in terms of output, equipment, and automation.

The three-floor production area is structured for efficiency: the top level stores raw materials, the middle level handles automated ingredient dosing, and the ground floor performs automatic packaging. Operators input formulations into the system, which then precisely measures, mixes, and processes fireproof coatings. A fully enclosed dust removal system ensures compliance with emission standards and controls dust levels at material feed points.

The ultra-thin fire retardant paint production line consists of 4 automated units with an annual capacity of 2,500 tons, operating across four levels for efficient workflow. The top floor serves as the high-speed dispersion and mixing zone, the third level is the grinding area, the second floor handles paint formulation, and the ground level is the automated packaging section—featuring advanced manufacturing technology. The facility is equipped with 5m³, 3m³, 2m³, and 1m³ tinting tanks to minimize color deviation, ensuring high-quality fireproof coatings.

Project introduction: The 10 million tons/year refining project of PetroChina Jinxi Petrochemical Branch is a brand-new 10-million-ton refining project invested by PetroChina for processing Russian crude oil, with a total investment of 18.5 billion yuan and an area of 250 hectares. Located in Beigang Industrial Zone, Huludao Economic Development Zone.

Project introduction: Sichuan Petrochemical Project is customarily called “Pengzhou Petrochemical” mainly consists of an 800,000 tons/year ethylene and 10 million tons/year oil refining “refining and chemical integration” project. It is located between Junle Town and Longfeng Town in the northwest of Pengzhou City, Sichuan. KAIDA Paints has guaranteed the supply of fire retardant coatings from the large-scale construction of the project to the inspection and maintenance in 2021.
