5. Application Guide

5.1 Surface Preparation

  • New steel: Blast clean to Sa2 (ISO 8501-1:2007 / GB/T 8923-2011) ou SSPC-SP6.
  • Old steel: Hand tool clean to St3.
  • Minimum roughness: 50µm.
  • Substrate temperature: ≥5°C & 3°C above dew point.

5.2 Mixing & Application

  • Mixing ratio30:3 (Base : Hardener)
  • Pot life:
    • 15°C: 3h | 25°C: 2h | 35°C: 1h
  • Thinner: JinYu No.1 Thinner
  • Application methods:
    • Airless spray (Nozzle: 0.38-0.53mm, Pressure: 15MPa)
    • Brush/Roller (0-5% thinner)
    • Conventional spray (5-15% thinner)
