JINYU PAINT is the manufacturing company behind KAIDA PAINT® and part of Jinyu Group, one of the largest building-materials groups in China. It has produced coatings for 42 years and is a leading fireproof-coating brand in the domestic market.

Two production lines run at the plant: coatings at 100,000 tons a year, adhesives at 50,000 tons. Development and testing are carried out in the group’s national-level laboratory, the Jinyu Technology Center.

The product range covers fireproof coatings, architectural decorative coatings, floor paints, industrial paints, water-based wood paints and environmentally friendly adhesives. These materials are in service at the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), the National Centre for the Performing Arts, the G20 Summit venues, the Beijing Urban Sub-center, Beijing Daxing International Airport and Universal Beijing Resort.

Production and testing use mainly imported equipment, and raw materials come from suppliers including Dow Chemical, BASF, Bayer and DuPont. The certifications held are the national environmental label (Ten Rings), green product certification, ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, and occupational health and safety management.

The management team is in place, and the core of the R&D and sales teams has more than 15 years in coatings and chemicals.
